One of the readings we did in class was
“People Like Us”. Before I came to America I thought America is a heaven.
People looks very kind and live peacefully together. I never knew that people
who have the same background tend to live in the same community. I thought
everyone just live together in same community no matter what your ethnicity is.
After I read this article, I started to pay attention in the neighborhood that
I live in. I notice most people that are in my community have the same cultural
background as I do.
